Dublin

Claire, Michaela, and I went to Dublin the weekend of December 14-16

Yes I still had two finals. No I had not studied for either one of them. No I probably shouldn’t have gone on this trip. But yes I was glad I was going.

That is until we had to wake up at 5am and after staying up till 1am the night before for the ceilidh. due to this, we all ended up brushing our teeth in the airport like real professional study abroad weekend travelers

Despite running on only >4 hrs of sleep, we managed to get ourselves to the airport on time. This was our first time traveling with Michaela which was great cause Claire and I had done most of the stuff before and we were able to sort of show her the ropes. Her reaction upon discovering that Ryan Air has you physically walk outside to the plane was GREAT

Dublin was great, although upon arriving we discovered that everything closes at 5pm

Possibly my favorite things we did while there was visit an old replica ship called the Jeanie Johnson

…and we went to the Guinness Factory (its a big tourist trap but I found one worth going to )

In the end, it as a great final trip
