Pai

Pai is a small town up in the mountains of northern Thailand. We hadn’t really heard of it until we got here but once we heard of it we kept hearing about it and everyone told us we had to go.

We could only fit it in our schedule for 2 days. We took a bus from Chiang Mai to Pai and arrived to find it a chill small hippie town full of health food fanatics and a bunch of people who told us “yeah I came here 3 months ago and just never left”

We only had one full day there so Ife and I each booked a one day tour. We wanted to see separate things so we booked different tours. I went to see white BuddhaLod cave some cool waterfallshung out in natural hot springs and finished the day at Pai Canyon, which is “Thailand’s answer to the Grand Canyon”. The Canyon was gorgeous and made of a bunch of walk ways which formed trails that twisted through a forest

Pai was beautiful–Ife and I are in danger of falling into the “Pai-hole” (when people go and just live there for months cause they love it so much”

As much as we loved it, we had to leave the next day to get down to Koh Phangan, the island which was hosting the Full Moon Party.
