Our travels in Patagonia – Torres del Paine and El Chalten
Traveling to Patagonia We ate at a super tasty restaurant in Puerto Natales, recommended to us by the front desk at our hostel, which seemed to have Peruvian influence (based on the Ají hot sauce?). Tyler got lamb that he said was delicious and I got these ribs and potato cheesy balls that I would die for. We found Puerto Natales to be a nice town and we wish we had more time to explore it In Torres Del Paine Hiking to Mirador Del Torres Hiking from Central to Frances Mirador Britanico, and hiking to Painé Grande—My favorite day Hiking from Paine Grande to Gray Hiking from Refugio Gray to…

Our first week living in Buenos Aires
If you plan on visiting Buenos Aires, check out the google maps link I created. Saturday We explored the El Ateneo Grand Splendid, an old theater turned into a bookstore And then we took a free walking tour of Recoleta. I swear, free walking tours are the best way to explore a city. On the tour we learned the following from our guide: After the tour we went to Buller Brewing, a bar across from Cementerio de la Recoleta, and we met two locals, meeting Lucky and Alejandro. Sunday We went to the San Telmo market, an outdoor street market with pop up tents selling anything from antiques to clothing…

Hiking the W Trek — Everything you need to know
The W trek is roughly a 50 mile (80 km) multi-day hiking route located in Torres del Paine National Park, Chile. The trek is popular because it goes past many of the highlights of the park, requires only a moderate level of fitness, and has a good infrastructure in place which allows hikers to self-guide their own trek. Along the W trek you will find yourself stunned by the natural beauty found at the viewpoints such as Las Torres, Lago Nordenskojld, Cuernos del Paine, Británico, and Grey Glacier. When can you hike the W trek? The park is open year-round, however, for self-guided trekking, you can only hike between October…

A (Rough) Beginning to our time in Buenos Aires
Note to reader: As I share about my time in Argentina, I will randomly throw in spanish words I have learned. I hope you enjoy this and maybe you can pick up some of these words as well! How did Buenos Aires Come to Be? It was definitely a whirlwind getting ourselves to Buenos Aires (BA). For those of you who do not know, I put in my two weeks at my job (mi trabajo) at the beginning of February, and by week 3 of February, I was in a car, headed to LAX with my fiance, Tyler. We had plans to go live in Buenos Aires where Tyler will continue…

Rock Climbing in Krabi, Thailand
Day 1 After Koh Phangan, Ife and I bussed to Krabi, a well known beach town in the southern part of Thailand. From here one can go to many of the famous Thai islands such as Koh Phi Phi (no I do not have to go pee), and phuket is very close by (although we opted not to go to Phuket cause we heard it is overcrowded, expensive, and full of old men who would want to make us their wives…) Before we left, we decided we would join our friends from Koh Phangan up in Pai, which cut our Krabi trip down to two days. But we were determined…
